Disney Fusion 5

Our family blog about Disney–Travel, Crafts, Art, and More

So, I’m a little late with posting. Things have been crazy, as I’m sure they have been for everyone else out there. We are all currently at home, and Don and I are blessed enough to not only be essential workers, but essential workers that can work from home. So, I haven’t left the house for about 4 weeks now, and Don goes out once a week to grocery shop.

We’ve been keeping busy, but it’s definitely a new experience for all of us. I think it has hit the girls the hardest, they finally have cars and freedom…..but they can’t leave.

I’ve been catching up on all those little projects that get pushed to the bottom of my list, and I also have been able to get a jump on my flower gardens, but only when the weather has been cooperating!

Enough about that, let’s talk about the craft this week! I have had most of these supplies for about a year or so, and it was time to do something with them!

I attend Mega Meet every year with my mom, and for those of you that don’t know what that is…well, it’s amazing. It is a scrapbook convention held in Novi, Michigan every mother’s day weekend. I spend way too much money, and end up with all the things and it takes me a while to actually do something with it all!

So, here are the supplies:

Mini Pallets – I bought these from the Maya Road Vendor
Glue Dots – Clearance at Walmart
Mickey Mouse Vinyl – On Sale at Joann Fabrics
Scissors
Adhesive (I didn’t end up using, I used the glue dots instead)
Exacto Knife
Various Embellishments – bought from various vendors at Mega Meet

First step is to cover the mini pallets with the vinyl.

Trim off the excess using the Exacto knife or your scissors.

I covered both of my mini pallets before moving on.

The hard part is finding what embellishments you want to put on the pallets. I wanted them to go together, since I was hanging them next to each other downstairs.

I ended up choosing these adorable diecuts I purchased at Mega Meet. I can’t stress to you enough that I DID NOT make these. The vendor is the Whole Kit and Kaboodle (https://the-whole-kit-n-kaboodle.com/) and she does AMAZING stuff! If you like Disney, and like to scrapbook, I highly recommend checking her out.

Here are the finished pallets. I simply took the diecuts and used the glue dots to adhere them to the pallets.

I think they turned out adorable, and they are currently hanging downstairs next to our “library.”

I hope you all are staying safe out there!
